Protocol updates

Step 1

Download the update and copy-paste the folder ‘Update8GC’ and the file .ini on a USB flash drive as shown below

Step 2

Insert the USB flash drive in the instrument

Step 3

Switch ON the IP-Star Compact

Step 4

The software starts up and select OK to the message on the touch screen

Step 5

Please mind that the update could take several minutes

Step 6

Press OK once the message appears on the touch screen

Step 7

The system shutdowns automatically. Switch OFF the IP-Star Compact once the touch screen is black

Step 8

Take off the USB flash drive

Step 9

Confirm that the new protocol has been successfully updated
